Peapods is reliant on the donations of local people and the money it raises itself. Events like this are vital to enable us to continue the good work we do in supporting families with a physically disabled child.
Every day we watch our children strive with courage and determination to do the things the rest of us take for granted: walking, talking, eating, playing. So on this one day we will be pushing ourselves to go the extra mile (or 10), to exert ourselves in the way our children do every day of their lives.
Just £8 pays for a disabled child to spend a day at a specialist playground, whilst £22 per person funds our annual day trip to the seaside, including specialist transport and helpers.
